Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy, born on November 25, 1968, is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her most notable roles include American television's Law & Order where she was the prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons and Crossing Jordan for six. She has also appeared in films like RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted and also in the independent film Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, the latter of which she wrote and co-directed. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat marketer and an executive in sales and marketing. This job required many trips and resulted in frequent family relocations. Maxine her mother, who was Maxine's passed away in 1982. She left her daughter under the care of Eleanor, her paternal grandmother. John Paul Hennessy Jr. Her younger brother is Jacqueline Hennessy the identical twin, who works as a journalist for a magazine and TV host in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian ancestry on her father's side, and mostly Ukrainian Roma, as well as Austrian and Austrian ancestry from her mother's. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School and was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario and busked in the Toronto subway. Hennessy was the sister of her brother. They made their acting debut in 1988 as twin call-girls in the TV show Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's actress, says she was shortlisted for Dana Scully, The X-Files role. She was also in 1988's Dead Ringers as twin call girls. Dick Wolf signed Hennessy in 1993 for the role of Claire Kincaid, an assistant district attorney in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role ran for three seasons. The show ended following the year 1996.
