Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland was born in New York City to actors Melissa D. Canaday and Edward James Hyland. She entered the industry at the age of four with commercial work as well as voice-overs. Private Parts was her first film. The Object of My Affection (1998) was followed by Another World (1964) where she was "Rain Wolfe" as a child who was found in the park who was taken care of and nurtured by Josie. Sarah worked alongside Amy Carlson ("Josie") at least a couple of times more: Falcone (2000). Law & Order (1990). Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was chosen to play "Audrey Hepburn" in Jennifer Love Shewitt's The Audrey Hepburn Story (2001). In the same year, she also cast as "Molly" in ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney: Annie (1999). With Kathy Bates, Audra Mcdonald, Victor Garber, Kristin Chenoweth and JoeGould's Secret (2000) as well as Falcone (2000). Sarah was a vocalist, jazz tap, hip hop, Theatre Dance and voice. She also performed with her tap and Theatre class at "Reel to Real" in Lincoln Center as invited performers. Sarah was born in New York and raised in New York. Her homeschooling was provided by her mom until 2nd grade. She then attended Public School. She was accepted in the 6th grade to PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School) which she attended until her graduation in 2008. When Sarah turned 18 then she moved to Los Angeles, CA and, within two weeks, had landed a pilot named "My American Family". Once picked up the name was changed to Modern Family (2009). Today, Sarah portrays "Haley Dunphy" the oldest Dunphy child. Modern Family (2009) has received numerous awards, most notably the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.
