Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols is the daughter of Alison and James Nichols. She has English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish ancestral roots. Cony High School was her high school in Augusta. She graduated there with a diploma in math and a high jump that was competitive. She went to Columbia University in New York City which is where she earned a degree with a double major in math and economics. She started modeling and launched her career in the industry with work for a variety of high-profile brands like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel moved into acting and was offered a part on the HBO situation comedy Sex and the City (1998) at her very first audition. In the prequel Dumb and Dumberer, When Harry Met Lloyd (2003), she made her film debut playing Jessica Matthews. The film's success was further enhanced by appearances in such films as The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra 2009, Criminal Minds 2005 (a recurring part as FBI Agent Ashley Seaver), and Conan the Barbarian 2011 Columbia University, where she earned a double degree in math and economics, was her leading part in the role of Kiera Cameron (police officer) on the science-fiction series Continuum (2012). She was a model for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, L'Oreal and Nicole Miller. She was the hostess of a restaurant in Sex and the City, the first part for which she auditioned. Her maternal grandfather was three-quarters Italian, one-quarter German, as was her maternal grandmother, who had English and Scottish ancestry. Both Nichols together with Star Trek (2009) star Zoe Saldana, went on to work for Stephen Lang. Saldana as well as Lang were in Avatar (2008); Nichols and Lang in Conan the Barbarian (2011). Michael Kershaw was her real estate developer. She proposed to her on December 30, 2013. She is naturally blonde.
