Padma Lakshmi Bio

Padma Parvati Lakshmi (born September 1, 1970) was born in Chennai. Lakshmi was divorced by her parents when she was 2. Her mother left India to avoid the stigma associated with divorce in India and moved to the United States. Lakshmi stayed with her maternal grandparents in Chennai two years before making the move to the United States. She has a younger half-brother from her father's side as well as a younger sister. Both of her parents divorced later. Lakshmi is a name shared by the Hindu goddess wealth and prosperity. She grew up in New York, then moved to Los Angeles with her stepfather and mother. She returned to India for several months each year to visit family. Padma Lakshmi began to be interested in acting in 1999. The first movie she acted in was "Figlio of Sandokan" which was a film about an Italian pirate. Next, she appeared in "Caraibi", a drama about 17th Century pirates. In 2001, she played in a comedy role supporting a singer in discos in 'Glitter.' Padma is married to Adam Dell, a venture capitalist, and has one daughter named Krishna Thea Lakshmi Dell. Krishna was born on February 20, 2010. Teddy Forstmann, who was the CEO and ex-chairman of IMG, is also her partner. Lakshmi is currently dating American venture capitalist Adam Dell. They share a daughter called Krishna. Lakshmi disclosed that her daughter's father is Dell. Her daughter, she stated, "Everything's better with her around." From the beginning to the final day, anything can be done. I can't pay attention to anything else.
