Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter was born July 23rd on the 23rd of July, 1970. Cordelia Chase was a character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer's supernatural drama series (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-04). Carpenter was born in Las Vegas. Carpenter has Spanish, French, and German origin (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was a student at the Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas; she was also a member of a dance and song group which was a part of the Las Vegas Valley when she was just nine years old. old.When Carpenter was 15, her family moved to Rosario Beach, Baja California, Mexico and then to San Diego, California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter was on a tour to Europe after graduating. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and was employed as an aerobics instructor and videostore clerk and property manager. She played for the San Diego Chargers football club in the year 1991. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.While swimming in San Diego in 1991, she and two male friends were assaulted by Henry Hubbard Jr., who was a former San Diego police officer and serial rapist, who tried to subdue them at gunpoint. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. as well as her companions were shot in the struggle. Both survived. Hubbard was arrested, found guilty and sentenced to 56 years of prison for a string of robberies and rapes. Carpenter brought Hubbard his flashlight from the police station on the beach.
